August begins with all the planets that can be seen with the naked eye (Mercury-Saturn) in a direct motion. This helps us accomplish what we want quicker and with more ease. Mercury is moving at a fast pace and will travel from Cancer in the beginning of the month, enter Leo on the 11th, and enter Virgo on the 27th. At first our thoughts will be about our home and family, then we turn our attention to having fun and romance, then as Mercury enters Virgo, our mind turns to our work and the never ending to do list.

The Sun is making its yearly visit to Saturn, (conjunction) on Monday the 7th. Monday morning blues may be evident especially because we just came out of a weekend with the Sun in Leo and the Moon in Sagittarius; if ever there was a weekend to party the first weekend of August is it!

The full moon on the 9th has extremely powerful energy for visualization and manifestation. In Atlanta, the full moon is exact at sunrise. The sun is on the ascendant (rising) conjunct Saturn, grounding and making it real, the moon is in the west setting conjunct Neptune, bringing in the ethereal and spiritual, Jupiter is on the IC, anchoring the moment with protection and blessings. Don’t miss this opportunity to consciously create your reality. Venus, the planet of what we love and value enters Leo on Saturday the 12th. Venus in Leo is here to teach us to be generous, open, how to follow your heart and learn to see the world through the eyes of wonder and awe.

The Sun moves into Virgo on Wednesday the 23rd, the same day as the new moon. It is an excellent day to commit to a new routine regarding your health, diet, and getting all the loose ends of your life cleaned up. Saturday the 26th Venus is conjunct Saturn, an appropriate time for a serious conversation with your significant other. This influence also is symbolic of purchasing something that will hold its value and beauty. If you have been searching for a big ticket item now may be the time to find or negotiate a good deal. The month finishes with Saturn opposing Neptune on the 31st. This is a significant cycle that will reflect disappointment with governments and the old structures. It may also reflect a spike in oil and gas prices or a shortage of availability.

Aries (Mar. 21 - Apr. 19)
The stress that has been surrounding you will lift and you will have a break in some of your responsibilities. There is travel energy and getting away for fun and relaxation may be just what you need. Friends play an important role; people that you have not been able to get together with are suddenly back in the picture. Ask for what you want yet be willing to let it go if the other person can’t give it to you. Instead of wasting time fighting for something someone isn’t able or willing to do move on to somebody that finds great joy and pleasure meeting your needs. This is an excellent month to meet someone new and exciting.



Taurus (Apr. 20 - May 20)
Family issues may surface this month. Instead of withdrawing to your own space you may want to find out just where they are coming from. Let them know who you really are then offer to spend as much or as little time with them as you are comfortable with. A situation that caused grief or stress last November or around your birthday will be resolved if you will tell the truth to yourself and make peace with what you can’t change. You will find treasures for your home during August; make it the retreat you want. Fun and romance begins towards the last third of the month. Let go of the disappointment and sadness and cultivate joy and happiness in everyday moments.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
The desire for change keeps pushing at you, examine where you are not being true to an inner calling. Listen to your inner voice, it will be loud and clear this month. Others may want you to stay the same but what will be the cost to you? Look before you leap, but do leap. Standing on the end of the diving board debating with yourself whether to jump, go back, how cold is the water, will you dive gracefully or splash – all that chatter just stops you from living life. This is a great month for small trips and weekend adventures. Plenty of new connections can be made with minimal effort.



Cancer (June 21 - Jul. 22)
Minor concerns may develop over money issues; take a responsible approach without becoming fearful or overly concerned about events you can’t control. Developing a consciousness of abundance and prosperity for all will navigate you through the global chatter of fear-based scarcity. A family member who became a little distant will be more understanding and reasonable. Consider developing a new interest or love. What you have been nurturing and putting your heart and soul into may have run its course and now it is time to move on.

Leo (Jul. 23 - Aug. 22)
With the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Saturn all moving through your sign this can be an extremely significant time in your life. This energy will be frozen for you the day of your birthday and continue until your birthday in 2007. Take advantage of the opportunity to make major improvements to your life. What do you want – love, romance, a better job, your own business, more money? Claim it; shake your fist at the universe and declare your desires, then take the action you need to make it true. Others will start to see your leadership abilities and ask you to take on new responsibilities, do so only after reflection of whether or not it is in alignment with the overall vision of your life.



Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22)
The first few weeks of August is your time to let go of the past, release all old behaviors that are holding you back, then when the new moon happens on the 23rd, start anew. The full moon is a time for contemplation on how best to use your time on earth to help and serve humanity. You have a unique contribution to give, be in preparation as the path and way will be revealed in the coming year. If your life is already in alignment with higher purpose simply expect a new assignment. Take advantage of Mars, the planet of action and assertiveness, to renew your commitment to exercise and ending procrastination.


Libra (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22)
This is a good month for you to establish meaningful relationships, both romantically and with others. They may begin as coworkers but develop into close and trusted friendships. Find time on the full moon to visualize the life you want, include all aspects that will make your life peaceful and joyful. The feelings and thoughts you have been holding back will have a chance to be expressed. Make time for your relationships with children or younger individuals; the effort you put into them now will develop deep trust and respect that you will be grateful for in the months to come.



Scorpio (Oct. 23 - Nov. 22)
Business opportunities that were put on hold will start to move forward again. Now is your time to reveal your gifts and talents. Calm any fear that you may be taken advantage of. Know deep within your being that whatever passes you will move through the circumstances towards what you intend to create. Friends may invite you to activities that are daring or challenging. A new friend can enter your life that inspires you to take up a physically challenging hobby. Friendly competition is in the air; use the feeling to motivate the group towards a common goal.



Sagittarius (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21)
Challenge in business may require you to travel or set future dates to travel. There is an opportunity to learn something new that will keep you on the competitive edge. Capricorn (Dec. 22 - Jan. 19)

A friend may have recently lost a family member and confronting the inevitable conclusion of life may be on their mind. Reevaluate your own needs around insurance and security, such as a living will or last will and testament. Have you thought of how you will be able to take care of yourself comfortably if and when you are no longer able or willing to work? Create a plan, put it into action, and then forget about it. Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18)
Move out into the world and find where you belong. Find the people you enjoy being with, look for the classes or events that pique your curiosity, the places that are unique and interesting. Step out of the old mold of judging and evaluating and just let the people, places, and events be what they are without the burden of judging them. Old interests may no longer bring you satisfaction and while you are in the void between the past and future just allow the present to be what it is. Your finances are asking for attention, a little effort can yield results to create more income; it may come from a second job, a side business, or from more effort at your current job.

Pisces (Feb. 19 - Mar. 20)
This month can be loaded with drama in your office or home environment. Do you really want to be pulled into someone else’s problems? The company you work for may start to make unexpected changes resulting in paranoia and fear in the work place. It may be time to look for another position.
