Isn't
it interesting that the last few years when prosperity
was our main focus that nothing really significant happened?
Yes, we had a war in Bosnia, and we saved lives (a good
thing) but it happened so fast and no one was killed
(Americans) and it happened far away, so be it, it is
done and let's go shopping!
Those days seemed to be good, everyone was scurrying around wanting more, needing more, having more, and making more money. Fewer people were interested in a balanced life. Our souls were starving and our bodies were fat. Success and greed went hand in hand, and then the unthinkable happened on 9-11 and the world changed forever.  The
evil doers touched our land, blackened our hearts and
shook our security. But, through the pain of what happened
on that day, our own spirituality and the human spirit
of the planet was awakened. It seems that nothing else
but the worst kind of terror could get our attention.
The universal band of angels, archangels, Ascended Masters, and all heavenly beings were present that awful day and sounded the trumpets that woke up the planet. Brotherhood and harmony among the people must come and it has already started. We are the peacemakers and that is our core, our center that makes us proud to be Americans. The USA has a group mission that assists others and raises mass consciousness for the good of all mankind. Our present leaders (not the older generation) have the energies and mindset to visualize a peaceful world and can make this possible. How could there be a grander gift this holiday season than watching the Afghan people dancing in the streets, seeing the children holding food in their little fists, and feeling their joy for a chance to live without war? It's hard to imagine that anyone could endure over two decades of oppression. As Americans, we're so spoiled, even now we are impatient and want the Taliban captured and our new war over. But our impatient nature is not serving us. Our quick fix attitude must not be heard by the government officials. Our voices must let them know we want what's right, what's decent and justice for all. None of us will ever forget September 11, 2001 and the fact that we lost over 6,000 people, but now we have hopes of saving millions in a country of no hope.
