Spring Winds of Change

Time
whizzes by at an alarming rate these days and we find ourselves already
entering the Spring Equinox March 21 at zero Aries. This first turning
point of the year is the real beginning of our natural cycle. Aries
calls for new beginnings. This robust cardinal energy is ready to
plunge us forward into the tentative beginning of activities that
will drive us into Spring, 2004.
We take a deep breath with troublesome February behind us: Saturn
direct Feb. 21 reconnected us back to the delays of July, 2002. March
is time to build professional, business and other public/personal
areas of our lives. March brings promises of excitement as several
large planets become major players in our lives. Uranus moves into
Pisces March 10. The last Uranus in Pisces transit was in the roaring
twenties. Life was alive with seances, emancipated women, prohibition
and some of the wildest times ever as Americans left the dark shadows
of WWI behind and waded into spirituality, a bid for peace and prosperity,
and personal independence. Some 84 years later, hopefully, we have
matured enough to include national maturity, support of science, and
a united world peace.
With Uranus changing signs, all mutable signs: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius,
and Pisces, will find themselves whirled into one change after another,
a magical time, an explosive time. Pluto, another major planet, will
turn direct March 21 and energy held up since August 15, 2002 will
be released for use.
Pluto, another major planet, will turn Retrograde March 21st and the
driving energy of war will go inward as conditions since August 25,
2002 will be reconsidered. Pluto and Mars brought the Iraq/U.S. war,
a little closer February 15/16, 2003, as they bumped each other in
the house of open enemies in the U.S. chart. We escaped open war and
now as Pluto power goes Retrograde, direct war energy is altered by
past alternate courses.
Mutable in Astrology is that energy which deals with: communication
(Gemini), physical/spiritual union (Virgo), publishing, news coverage,
religious/ philosophical beliefs (Sagittarius), and awareness that
we are all connected and One (Pisces). Fixed signs Taurus, Leo, Scorpio
and Aquarius carry these issues through, build foundations, while
cardinal signs Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn race outward spreading
the energy.

Pisces (Feb.19 - March 20)
Friendships are challenging this month. You may find yourself drawn
into squabbles and irritations with those you have always found good
natured. Look to see if this is something coming from within instead
of without. Curb impatience and temper. Delays around home are overcome
now. The feeling of being boxed in will lighten. For some Pisceans,
new opportunities for work at home will resurface. Career problems
continue to bring out deep seated anxieties. Let go! You will find
that if you go with the flow, greater opportunities will come. Watch
for old friends or lovers reappearing. Don't let gossip get you
down. You feel drawn to new freedom of expression.
Aries (March 21 - April 19)
Pondering your life direction seems to be an ongoing obsession right
now, but after the 21st, your frustrations with inaction can be overcome.
There are opportunities to move to a new area or to start a new direction
in your studies or life goals. Friendship could blossom into
a romance. You'll feel plenty of energy to start new projects
at work and could be given some kind of bonus. If you have been feeling
rather blue, your spirits will rise toward the end of the month and
those of you deep into a romance will see that you need to spice it
up a bit. Many Aries will head for the great outdoors seeking fun
and enjoyment. You'll find special understanding and joy with
children if you are patient.
Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
The boss will give you bouquets this month. Or if you want to change
jobs, this is the time to go for it. For the futuristic Taurians,
a few of your most impossible career goals can be attainable. Expect
the unexpected. With the whirlwind of energy that you have been exerting,
you may want to slow down, but things are just heating up. You may
wind up traveling to far away places or going after that impossible
job you always wanted. Forget the fear and believe in yourself! For
some, home and career vie for your attention.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Going crazy? You haven't seen anything yet, Gemini! This is a
month full of surprises. Job changes, unexpected shifts on the job,
one job merges into two. All kinds of changes in your life are starting
up. Yet, this is also a time for fulfillment of dreams, long held
up or forgotten. Challenges come from a partner as you continue the
battle to change your relationship 'bad habits.' Company from
far away will come to some of you while others will find companionship
through travel. Old, held up cash flow will begin to move. In the
middle of all of this, you will find time to do your favorite thing:
start a new study course or jump into a new book with brand new ideas.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
With spring on the way, your health will improve. You gain great insight
into what causes health problems and quit trying to find the quick
fix. New opportunities and challenges for single Cancers will bring
in new people and new ways to handle problems. Those old blues will
begin to move away as you'll find ways to put your energy toward
new projects and opportunities. Money comes from unexpected sources
this month. Don't let your sensitive nature pull in the adverse
energy that is all around. Take time to have long soaks in big sudsy
tubs or find a new bird feeder and watch the traffic. The continuity
of life will fill you with peace.
