In the bathroom in my home, if you're a captive audience at that point, I have the walls decorated with enlightened and wonderful things to read. Six pages from the Wayne Dyer, 2000 calendar face you and I don't think Wayne would mind me using one of his excerpts to make the point that life has lessons. No one is exempt. I hope you remember this when you need it. “When you are tempted to view obstacles as hindrances, remember that life gives exams. Create a saying to remind yourself of the potential value in the obstacle. Your saying might be, 'This restriction has shown up in my life to teach me something. When I get the lesson, I will then see my inner faith manifesting itself in positive ways again. I will bless this occurrence rather than curse it, knowing always that the ways of God will sometimes be mysterious to me.'” I may never change my wallpaper. People ask, “Why?” Because life's lessons go on. I know that my circle of family and friends are saying, “What else can go haywire?” (I hate the word Wrong.) I don't want to know what else. We talked about this before; we said in the 21st century everything that is not built on truth will crumble and lots of change will happen especially in 2003 (The Year of Change). So, let's embrace and trust our inner faith. The Universe is working for our good. If not that understanding, then what? I believe the information you need is put in front of you for a reason, so pay attention to everything you hear. For instance, I didn't go out to buy duct tape, but gathering my friends in the neighborhood to have a plan is a good idea. That piece of information rang true for me. All you smart survivors from Y2K, you're all prepared. The big plan is being played out in all its glory and we will triumph. Peace on Earth should be our mantra. As I sit here writing this, I'm in shock and disbelief of the news about a nightclub in Rhode Island that burned in three minutes and killed eighty-five people. I spent thirty years in clubs and restaurants as a waitress/bartender and I am eternally grateful that I never witnessed anything this tragic. God help them all.
