Fruits Of the Spirit For September 2004
Greetings!
Alafia (Peace and Prosperity) to you all.
The power of Oludumare (God) speaks to our hearts in September to seek
out the illumination and manifestations of the Great Spirit in our everyday
world. We need only to open up our divine God-spirit sight to witness
the majestic and graceful essence that nature offers to us.
The Divine Orisha Obatala is letting us know that this is the time to
harvest our souls' identity and gain insight into who we really are
and what our spiritual purpose is here on Earth.
 Listen
carefully to the wind as the spirit of the Orisha Goddess Oya carries
the message of positive change to our inner minds. Those willing to
receive self-knowledge will find the Goddess Oya reacting like a stormy
hurricane transforming the negative baggage to bring about a much needed
peaceful balance. Oya's power of transformation unleashes the flow
of blocked creativity within us to produce marvelous works.
This month we are required to make personal sacrifices to gain the illumination
and discipline necessary to end negative cycles. This may mean abstaining
from sex, drugs, alcohol, coffee, food or whatever ill behavior that
belongs to you. We will all benefit by standing up to the challenge
of ending unhealthy and unproductive behaviors or activities.
This month choose to spend money on family fun activities that will
help your family to grow closer in bonds of love and unity. Joint financial
and property projects flourish as will ventures involving partnerships.
September offers opportunities for writers to use the power of God/Goddess
to create words of wisdom, beauty and truth. Written masterpieces will
be the fruit of using the Great Spirit as leader and teacher from start
to finish.
Be aware that home difficulties will be prominent this month and can
be properly diffused with extra nurturing. Tread carefully as the shake-ups
in the home will test the foundation of the family. If your family's
core is built on love, then it will survive the crisis.
Creativity, fertility, pregnancy and new life are all a part of the
power of God in this month. Those seeking and wanting children need
to pray and offer sacrifice to Obatala, Orisha God of Light or your
own Guardian Angel to make it happen. Be very careful sexually if your
intention is not to conceive – please use protection to prevent
receiving a gift of life that is unwanted.
Those parents with children already on Earth will struggle with them,
for your children will seem unusually unhappy and depressed this month.
To overcome this situation, parents please stay in prayer to Orisha
Goddess Yemoja for wisdom to guide your young one through the mental
challenges of growing up and handling peer pressure.
Those of us seeking extra income, look for more opportunities for raises,
promotions and better jobs this month. If you can dream it, you can
achieve.
This month the power of the Divine Creator is outstandingly present
– meditation, prayer, sacrifice and mystical work will produce
positive results. Be steadfast in your faith in the power of God and
you will have success in any positive activity that uplifts and is beneficial
to you.
Relationships this month are on trial as the negative changes within
produce doubt, deceit and destruction. Many will be sad as relationships
without substance end. Those of you that are affected fear not, for
transformation and renewal will convey emotional freedom if you choose
to believe that you deserve better.
Open your eyes in September to the power of the Divine Goddess to make
things happen in your world that will enhance your life. Try to be consistent
with your career decisions if you need stability. Social parties and
activities with co-workers may ruin your good name if you start an affair
with someone unavailable or in your office.
September is a highly spiritual month; consult with your spiritual leader
to find your path to expressing your spiritual light. We will all encounter
September's passionately sensual, sexual and emotional fused energy.
These human feelings are gifts from the Great Spirit; if misused these
energies can cause our pleasure to turn to pain. We are blessed to experience
love in all its forms but having negative thoughts and feelings will
cause us to embrace dark forces that will wreak havoc and cause chaos
to ourselves and those around us. Be very aware of God's presence
in you this month and use the opportunity to increase it and demonstrate
the growth of your Divine God-spirit to the universe.
